We are seeking an excellent and committed Teaching Assistant (TA), ideally with relevant in school SEND experience to join a supportive Primary School in Croydon! This role is ideal for experience Teaching Assistants or candidates with some school experience considering careers in Educational, Developmental, or Child Psychology, providing you with hands-on experience with students who have specific SEND needs.
About the Role – Teaching Assistant (SEND experience):
As a Teaching Assistant with SEND experience, you will provide tailored support to students with diverse SEND requirements, enhancing their learning and emotional well-being. Your role includes collaborating closely with the school SENCO, educational psychologists, and other professionals, assisting in the development and review of individual support plans, and working Monday to Friday in a nurturing school environment.
Requirements - Teaching Assistant (SEND experience):
- Previous experience working in schools and with children, particularly those with complex needs, is essential
- Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3 qualifications are preferred
- Strong academic background and a commitment to supporting students with SEND
- Passionate about making a positive impact on students’ lives
- Eager to pursue a career dedicated to student development and well-being
- Holds a registered DBS or is willing to apply for one
