Are you a passionate graduate looking to support students' mental health and well-being? We are seeking a Well-being Support Assistant to join a diverse and welcoming secondary school in Southwark. This is a great opportunity to work closely with pupils across KS3, KS4, and KS5, providing essential support for those with SEND and SEMH needs

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated candidate to support students with SEND/SEMH needs across KS3, KS4, and KS5. In this full-time, term-time only role, starting ASAP, you will work closely with our inclusion team, teachers, and SLT to facilitate differentiated tasks for small groups or individual students. The role also involves providing tailored support for students facing social inclusion challenges. This position is Monday to Friday.

 

Well-being Support Assistant opportunity: 

  • A graduate, ideally in Psychology, with a passion for mental health and education
  • Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to help all students thrive
  • Strong communication skills and a flexible, open-minded approach
  • Committed to supporting students with potential barriers to learning
  • Experience or awareness of working with young people with SEND/SEMH needs
  • Holds a registered DBS or be willing to apply for one ASAP
