About the Role:
We are establishing a high-need intervention provision for a group of 5 children in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Year 1. As an Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will lead small group activities and support children in accessing their main class at appropriate times during the day, fostering both their academic growth and personal development.


Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) opportunity:

  • Lead small group interventions and activities for children in EYFS and Year 1
  • Provide tailored support to help children transition smoothly into their main classes
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Experience working with children with additional needs, equivalent to the Enhanced Learning Provision (ELP) framework, is essential
  • A caring, patient, and proactive attitude, with a passion for early years education
  • Holds a registered DBS or be willing to apply for one ASAP
