A 3 Form Entry Primary School in Inner London (Newham) is looking to recruit a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join their friendly team of support staff.

Job Details – Primary SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Opportunities to work in EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Supporting the class teacher with daily tasks
  • Working 1:1 or in small groups with children with SEN
  • Supporting a variety of Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia
  • Long term and full-time role, until at least July 2025
  • £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

Person Specification – Primary SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Strong academics across the board – Degree, A levels & GCSEs
  • Good understanding of SEN is required
  • Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN would be ideal
  • Passionate about supporting children with SEN
  • Calm and compassionate nature
  • Ability to demonstrate patience and sensitivity
