Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Southwark
Salary: £95 - £105 a day (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Long Term Contract

We are currently looking for a committed individual to join our strong and professional support team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will work 32.5 hours per week on a term-time only basis.
We are a secondary special school in Southwark that serves the needs of 90 students who have severe, profound and complex learning needs. SEN Teaching Assistant – The role:
SEN Teaching Assistant
Supporting students with their learning,
Personal care and mobility
Assisting with the preparation and delivery of classroom activities
Building good relationships with students and staff
Participating in team meetings and training sessions
Salary: £95 - £105 a day (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Long Term Contract
Start Date: ASAP
SEN Teaching Assistant – The person:
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
An interest in working with people
Effective team and interpersonal skills
Good physical health
Previous experience of working with young people is desirable, but not essential
