Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant – Wandsworth

 

An Outstanding Primary School in the Borough of Wandsworth are looking to recruit a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant.

 

You will be working in the Year 2 and Year 3 class as a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, providing SEMH support to children on a 1:1 and small group basis.

Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant

  • Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant
  • Working with children in Year 2 & Year 3
  • Supporting children with SEMH
  • Working with children on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Working in and out of the classroom
  • Delivering interventions that support regulations (eg: sensory circuits, movement breaks)
  • Supporting with academics and SEMH check ins
  • Long Term & Full Time – until July 2025
  • £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
  • Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEMH, essential
  • Calm and compassionate nature
  • Trauma informed / emotion coaching experience ideal
  • Ability to de-escalate and support pupils with self-regulation
