The Role:

As a Maths Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and challenge students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and nurturing a growth mindset. Your innovative teaching methods, passion for mathematics, and dedication to student success will empower students to excel in their studies and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and interactive Maths lessons that cater to the needs and abilities of all learners, fostering a love for the subject and promoting a growth mindset
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technology to enhance the learning experience and facilitate student understanding
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to support their academic development and achievement
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum, share best practices, and contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Maths
  • Proven experience teaching Maths to students in Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, preferably within an independent school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring curiosity and confidence in mathematics
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and promotes academic excellence
