Who is suitable to apply for this 1-to-1 SEN Teaching Assistant role?

  • Ideally a Graduate with a 2:1 or above or a L3 Qualified Teaching Assistant
  • Previous care/ child-related experience is essential
  • Graduates who wish to pursue a Master’s or Doctorate in Educational/ Child Psychology
  • Aspiring SEN Teachers, Counsellors, Child Wellbeing Practitioners, Speech & Language Therapists
  • You must be confident in your behaviour management techniques
  • Strong team players with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Reliability and punctuality are a must!

Role Details – SEN Teaching Assistant:

You will be required to provide tailored 1-to-1 support both in and out of the classroom and work closely alongside the SENCo to formulate an effective timetable which will allow you to monitor and track her academic and social development. You will be trained up on a range of Speech & Language therapies and will deliver interventions to a small group of Reception children on a weekly basis.

  • Full time role starting in October or November 2024
  • Long-term for the remainder of the academic year
  • £90 - £100 per day
  • Located in the heart of SW London, Wandsworth
