A friendly Primary school located in borough of Bexley are looking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will provide support for pupils, the teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils. You will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers or to cover their PPA time, following lesson plans to deliver whole class learning in this Higher Level Teaching Assistant role.

• Higher Level Teaching Assistant
• Working across all Key Stages (KS1 & KS2)
• Running catch up programmes in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils
• Working on a 1:1 and small group basis in and out of the classroom
• Teaching lessons to whole classes in KS1 and KS2
• Full time and permanent contract
• Salary £26,745 per annum
• Impressive academic background – good degree, A levels & GCSEs
• Previous experience working in a similar role essential
• HLTA qualification ideal
• You must be confident within the classroom
• Good understanding of the Primary Curriculum would be desirable
• Good knowledge of a range of learning barriers including special needs
• Someone who can deliver inspiring and challenging interventions and lessons
• A positive, willing and adaptable member of the team
