JOB DESCRIPTION – SEN Teaching Assistant

  • SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Supporting children with SEN – ASD and speech difficulties (non-verbal)
  • 1:1 and group support – in and out of the classroom
  • ASAP start
  • Long-term & full time, until July 2025
  • £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION – SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Degree from a reputable University preferred, good academics throughout
  • Good understanding of SEN is required
  • Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN, is essential
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Calm and compassionate nature
  • Holds a registered DBS or be willing to apply for one ASAP
