Salary: £34,052 to £38,035 per annum, plus P.R.P based on the achievement of targets

HRUC (Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge Colleges) is a merged College Group, based in West London. We have five campuses at Harrow on the Hill, Harrow Weald, Hayes, Uxbridge and Richmond upon Thames.
We are looking for a driven and passionate Business Development Consultant with a strong background in Apprenticeships to sell learner training solutions to levy paying Employers on a nationwide basis. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth for our apprenticeships division, by expanding our employer base across the UK.
We are seeking someone who:
- Has a proven track record of a consultative approach in sales within the education sector, focusing on apprenticeships
- Has a genuine interest in helping others succeed through education and training
- Is a dynamic collaborator and a solution orientated salesperson
- You will need to possess a driving licence and the use of your own personal transport as this post will involve travelling across the UK. This role can involve some hybrid/remote working, to be discussed and agreed on appointment
Qualifications
- Good standard of education (GCSE level or equivalent including Maths and English)
- Qualified to Level 3 (A level or equivalent professional qualification)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Proven track record of a consultative approach in sales, within the education sector
- Experience of apprenticeship sales experience with Levy paying employers
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to overcome objections and secure commitments
- Experience of providing Training and Development consultative advice to employers and undertaking training needs analysis
- Experience of meeting sales targets on a regular basis
- Experience of increasing sales through expanding the customer base and generating new business
- Ability to anticipate, identify and respond to customer needs
- Demonstrate evidence of planning and organising own time to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools for tracking leads and managing pipelines
- Knowledge of Further Education and/or Training Providers and an understanding of apprenticeship funding rules
- Understanding of Apprenticeship funding reforms
