EYFS Teacher (QTS)

Full time, Permanent

Lewisham

September 2024

This fantastic, larger than average community primary school are on the hunt for an outstanding EYFS Teacher to join their multi-cultural learning community.

While most pupils live locally, a small number choose to travel some distance to get to this exceptional school.  They are an inclusive, multi-cultural learning community who embrace and celebrate the cultural diversity that makes this school so vibrant and special.

They are even lucky enough to have a hearing impairment resource base, which is a non-signing resource base that is supported by a team that includes specialist teachers and experienced support staff.

Children in the Early Years Foundation Stage are taught in the Nursery and three Reception classes, where they will be looking to appoint you as an EYFS Teacher. With a high-quality facility and staff in place, they are particularly proud of their Early Years provision as it provides the children in the community with a fantastic start to their educational journey

The school has wraparound care onsite in the form of a breakfast and an afterschool club. This is housed in our spacious purpose-built accommodation which benefits from a number of playgrounds, outside spaces and an outdoor learning area.  As EYFS Teacher we hope that you will continue to inspire the students and your team in building a supportive EYFS learning environment.

As a EYFS Teacher, the school can offer you…

  • Attainment in Line with LA averages in Maths, English and Reading
  • An Ofsted rated ‘Good’ School
  • A curriculum built on 5C’s (Climate, Content Knowledge, Challenge, Critique and Connections)
  • 3FE school
  • A multi-cultural, diverse and inclusive staff who are dedicated to supporting well-being and working collaboratively
  • Encouragement of progression and CPD opportunities
  • Parent support through workshops, breakfast and afterschool clubs
  • Gardens, pond area and outdoor provisions to encourage exploration of pupils

Our school prides ourselves on wanting their children to be equipped for life ahead of them and to be ambitious for themselves by having a sense of purpose, determination and an understanding of the world around them.

Is this the kind of school you can see yourself prosper? Are you an enthusiastic, EYFS teacher who will be creative and inclusive in your teaching and continue the trend of providing a holistic approach to teaching and learning?
