SEN Teaching Assistant – Islington Primary School – ASAP Start  

A two-form entry school with a strong reputation of being consistently ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is looking to find an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching assistant to support students within their alternative resource provision.

  • £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

PERSON SPECIFICATION: SEN Teaching Assistant  

  • Strong academic background required – educated to a degree level  
  • 1st Class or 2:1 required 
  • Experience of supporting children (4-18) with SEN – Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L – Ideal 
  • Childcare related experience, ideally with a SEN focus - Ideal 
  • You MUST be resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic & adaptable   
  • A hardworking and driven individual who will exceed all expectations of the role requirements  
  • Strength academically – especially Maths & English  
  • Creative & enthusiastic individual a great fit for the setting 
  • PERFECT for an aspiring Psychologist – Educational / Clinical / Forensic 
  • Ability to be versatile & support child’s various needs 
  • Previous child / SEN related experience an advantage & preferred!
