SEN Teaching Assistant – Islington Primary School – ASAP Start
A two-form entry school with a strong reputation of being consistently ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is looking to find an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching assistant to support students within their alternative resource provision.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Strong academic background required – educated to a degree level
- 1st Class or 2:1 required
- Experience of supporting children (4-18) with SEN – Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L – Ideal
- Childcare related experience, ideally with a SEN focus - Ideal
- You MUST be resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic & adaptable
- A hardworking and driven individual who will exceed all expectations of the role requirements
- Strength academically – especially Maths & English
- Creative & enthusiastic individual a great fit for the setting
- PERFECT for an aspiring Psychologist – Educational / Clinical / Forensic
- Ability to be versatile & support child’s various needs
- Previous child / SEN related experience an advantage & preferred!
