PE Teacher – Harrow – September

Role – PE Teacher

Start Date – September 2024

Contract – Permanent

Salary – £34,708 (M1) - £51,179 (UP3)

We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join our vibrant school community!

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • To develop engaging and innovative lesson plans to promote physical fitness, motor skill development, and teamwork.
  • Lead dynamic PE classes, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for students of all abilities.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Organize and supervise extracurricular sports activities, games, and fitness challenges.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate health and wellness initiatives across the curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Good honours degree in relevant subject
  • Qualified Teacher status
  • Evidence of teaching KS3 to KS5 across the ability range
  • Experience of curriculum innovation and development.
  • Experience and understanding of a range of approaches to teaching and learning and of sustained raising of achievement.
  • Experience of developing teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of all students and their continuous improvement.
