We are a high achieving Secondary school looking to recruit a History Teacher. Our Head Teacher is notorious for investing heavily into our staff and providing them with all the support needed to excel within the position.

History is a popular choice at GCSE and an increasingly popular choice in the Sixth Form. Around 90 students each year are entered for GCSE History in Year 10. Our History department’s subject leader has contributed to a KS3 History textbook and delivered subject-specific training at a national History conference, and is keen to develop similar skills in History staff. Classical Civilisation is also taught by the department.

 

You will be working in an inclusive community as a History Teacher, where all children are challenged to be the best they can be. With excellent facilities and high-quality teaching, the students are happy, challenged and motivated.
