This is a full time, and long-term post for the rest of the academic year, until at least July 2024, with scope to continue in September for the entire academic year.

What will you be doing as a SEN Teaching Assistant?

• Supporting several children with Autism / ASD
• Working with children who have speech & language difficulties
• 1:1 and small group support in & out of the classroom
• Working alongside several other SEN Teaching Assistants & SENCO

JOB DESCRIPTION – SEN Teaching Assistant

• SEN Teaching Assistant
• Working across several classes supporting SEN
• Supporting children who have Autism / ASD
• Working hours – 8:30am – 4:00pm
• Full Time & Long-Term
• ASAP Start
• £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

PERSON SPECIFICATION - SEN Teaching Assistant

• Good level of education is required – Degree ideally
• Must have an advanced understanding of SEN
• Previous experience would be desirable, but not essential
• Calm and compassionate nature
• Holds a registered DBS or be willing to apply for one ASAP
