As a diverse and vibrant all-through faith school, we are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor for our Secondary School.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be working in an environment that stimulates intellectual learning and growth, which promotes excellence.

You will provide support for pupils, the teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils in this Cover Supervisor role. You will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers, following lesson plans to deliver whole class learning in this Cover Supervisor role.

Cover Supervisor – what’s involved?

• Cover Supervisor
• Working across Secondary School (KS3 & 4)
• Covering absent Teachers and PPA
• Working collaboratively to improve outcomes for pupils
• Long Term & Full Time – until at least July 2024
• £90 - £120 per day (depending on experience)
• Located in the Borough of Lewisham

Cover Supervisor – who are we looking for?

• Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor ideal
• You must be confident within the classroom
• An understanding of how to support children’s learning
• Good understanding of the Secondary Curriculum is essential
• An ability to deploy strategies to allow learners to engage with the curriculum creatively
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Want to work as part of a hardworking, dedicated and cohesive team
