Autism Support Specialist

A nurturing primary school situated in the heart of Hammersmith, Central London, is on the lookout for a compassionate Autism Support Specialist to join their close-knit team. This role offers a full-time, long-term commitment until July 2024.

Job Description – Autism Support Specialist:

  • Providing dedicated support to pupils with Autism/ASD
  • Engaging with students both within the classroom and on an individual basis
  • Full-time position with an immediate start
  • Competitive daily rate of £90 - £100
  • Located in Hammersmith, Central London

 

Ideal Candidate – Autism Support Specialist:

  • Strong academic background
  • Previous experience in childcare is essential
  • Experience in SEN support, whether professional or personal, is beneficial
  • Previous experience working with children with autism is desirable
  • A commitment to going above and beyond in support of the students
  • Aspirations to pursue a career as a teacher, psychologist, or counsellor!
