Learning Support Assistant - Autism Resource Base

 

We have four vacancies available for enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants within our within our newly designated Autism Resource Base.

 

These vacancies are particularly suited to recent graduates who are interested in progressing their career in education and with a particular interest in the learning support needs of Autistic students.

 

The Resource Base at our Lewisham Secondary School is a specialist provision which aims to support Autistic students to access all learning and social opportunities of a busy mainstream school.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an effective team with ongoing training and mentoring.

 

Details of the Role:

  • Full time, Long term (at least an academic year)
  • £85 - £100 per day
  • ASAP start
  • Monday – Friday 8:30am to 4pm (Term Time)

 

Ideal candidates will be resilient, have effective communication skills and will demonstrate a passion for developing their understanding of the learning support needs of Autistic students in an inclusive mainstream school.
