Speech and Language Teaching Assistant – ASAP 2024 – Camden Primary School 

 

A super supportive Primary School in the heart of the London Borough of Camden are looking to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant with a Speech & Language Focus for an ASAP start. 

 

This Primary School is renowned for the additional training provided and are led by a supportive Head Teacher and driven SENCo who will always make time for you and go above & beyond.   

 

The successful candidate will be supporting a child who suffers with Speech & Language delay. You will be expected to provide her with the highest quality of support and help her progress throughout the year. You will be trained in how to utilise relevant Speech & Language techniques.

POSITION: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant 

SUPPORTING: Pupils with Speech & Language difficulties 

PAY: £85 – 100 a day 

CONTRACT: Full Time & Long Term 

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday 

START DATE: ASAP 2024 

LOCATION: Camden 

 

About the role: 

  • · Working in either the EYFS / KS1 / KS2 
  • · Providing intervention support 
  • · Supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis 
  • · Providing support for pupils with Speech & Language and communication difficulties 
  • · Full-time & Long Term contract 
  • · Starting ASAP 2024 
  • · Primary School Located in Camden 

The ideal candidate: 

  • · Solid academics: Degree, A Levels, GCSEs 
  • · Previous experience of working with children (Voluntary or Paid) 
  • · Experience of working with children with SEN or Speech & Language difficulties 
  • · Aspiring Speech & Language therapist 
  • · Engaging and upbeat personality 
  • · Passion to work with children 
  • · Confident and reliable
