We are actively looking to recruit a talented, ambitious and proven History Teacher, looking for a full time, permanent Head of History.
ROLE: Head of History
START: September 2024
CONTRACT: Permanent & Full Time
SALARY: Inner London MPS / UPS + £10,000 TLR
APPLICANTS: Qualified History Teacher – minimum of 3 years teaching experience
QULIFICATIONS: Teaching Qualification - UK QTS - 1st / 2:1 History degree
SCHOOL: Outstanding Secondary School – 11 – 18 yrs – 1,000+ pupils
OFTSED: Graded OUTSTANDING across the board!
LOCATION: Inner (South) London – ZONE 2 – excellent transport links & staff parking

WHO ARE THE SCHOOL & SLT LOOKING FOR:
- Head of History
- Previous management experience ideally required – KS coordinator / 2iC
- Qualified History Teachers ONLY to apply - UK QTS a MUST
- Trained via formal, recognised pathway - PGCE, Schools Direct / SCITT or Teach First
- Experienced History Teacher required – minimum of 3 years (UK curriculum)
- Ability to teach History across KS3, 4 & 5
- 1st class or 2:1 History degree
- Genuine passion & interest for teaching & your subject
- Ability to lead & develop a talented team of History teachers
