The role includes:

  • Encouraging the students to be proactive.
  • Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons which caters to the needs of the students.
  • Provide support and guidance to the students.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress.

What is required for this role?

  • A degree relevant to Mathematics and UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Be hardworking, enthusiastic and have high levels of commitment and resilience
  • Be able to plan, deliver and assess high-quality learning experiences for all learners in their care and deploy a range of strategies to support their personal development
  • Have an interest in new teaching and learning developments and possess high degree of integrity
  • Be able to demonstrate a highly successful track-record of teaching the subject with strong examination outcomes, particularly at key stage four and five
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate, which is registered on the update service, if not be willing to process one
