Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic KS1 Teacher who is committed to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons tailored to the needs of our diverse student body. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and pedagogy, as well as a genuine passion for working with young learners. They will be responsible for creating a supportive and stimulating classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the varying abilities and learning styles of KS1 students
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and personal growth
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and behaviour
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching KS1 students, preferably in a UK primary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners
  • Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
  • Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community
