Spring has Sprung!

The Spring term is in full bloom- despite what the weather thinks! Here's what the #ClarusEducation team have been up to lately...

Clarus Highlights

February - for such a short month there always seems to be so much going on!

The half term resignation deadline meant we saw a flurry of amazing candidates come through looking for a new role for the Summer Term. Many of our schools welcomed new Clarus staff into the team. We wish them all well in their exciting new roles.

We saw the permanent recruitment drive kick off too. Our team are already working hard to find the best teachers and support staff for the new academic year. If you are interested in a new challenge, do check out our live vacancies to see what is available.

We also love any opportunity to eat, so Pancake Day was a big hit for us. As a remote team, its important for us all to share our delicious creations in photo form, if only to make each other jealous! (Or sick, if like Alison Watkis-Octave you aren't a fan of bananas!)

Meet the Team

This month we get to know our longest serving employee; Senior Compliance Officer, Ellen O'Shea.

Desk: I oversee Compliance processes for Clarus and provide focused support for one of our teams. I do all the background work to ensure our candidates are compliant with Safer Recruitment Guidelines.

Why education recruitment? I was a Secondary school teacher for six years and had a background in legal studies, so I wanted to find a role that would utilise both sets of skills. I've been here seven years, so I guess its a good fit!

Describe yourself in three words: Eccentric, loyal and organised!

Clarus Focus

There are lots of things to look forward to in the coming month. We'll be diving in to our charity pledge for  Swim for Cake  which will see the team baking yummy treats. We will also be showing our support for #worldbookday , #internationalwomensday and #rednoseday. Keep an eye on our social pages for updates from the team!

We are moving into our busiest period and, as always, our focus remains on finding the best people to work in a wide variety of roles across our client schools. If you are interested in a role in Education, why not register your interest with us today!
