3 x Primary Teaching Assistant – Outstanding School in Barnet, North London

A brilliant school in Barnet are looking for 3 enthusiastic and creative Primary Teaching Assistants to support children across their OUTSTANDING graded school. Each candidate appointed will be supporting EYFS (Nursery and Reception), KS1 (Years 1-2) or KS2 (Years 3-6) – dependant on experience.

Role – Primary TA

  • Primary Teaching Assistant
  • Based with either EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (depending on experience)
  • 5 days a week: 8:30am to 4:30pm
  • £70 per day rising to £85 after 12 weeks
  • Carrying out small group interventions – SEN or EAL needs
  • Liaising with the Class Teacher regarding lesson plans and progress
  • Attending staff meetings and working collaboratively as a team
  • IDEAL for aspiring Primary Teachers

  • Continued OUTSTANDING judgement from Ofsted
  • 2 form entry with an average of 30 pupils per class
  • Set timetable of training for all staff

Candidate – Graduate Teaching Assistant

  • Graduate with a 1st Class or 2:1 degree
  • Strong grades in A levels and GCSEs

  • Have a positive and caring approach towards supporting children
  • Knowledge of the curriculum for desired Key Stage (EYFS, KS1, KS2)
