An ‘Outstanding’ Westminster-based nursery is looking to recruit two exceptional SEN Teaching Assistants to join their Early Years team on a full-time basis for the entire academic year.

In this SEN Teaching Assistant role you will be supporting two children with ASD and will be responsible for overseeing their general development and wellbeing.

If you are a Psychology graduate with ambitions to pursue a career in Educational Psychology, this SEN Teaching Assistant position would be the perfect opportunity for you to gain invaluable experience.

  • Strong academic background including GCSEs, A Levels and a Degree from a reputable university (2:1 or above)
  • Experience working in a child-related environment – ideally early years or primary
  • A strong understanding of SEN – especially ASD
  • An excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Must demonstrate a passion for education and a commitment to the role
  • Must hold an enhanced DBS

  • Pay: a highly competitive rate of £89 per day + excellent healthcare package worth £675
  • Typical hours: 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday, term time only
