Who is suitable to apply for this 1-to-1 SEN Teaching Assistant role?

  • Ideally a Graduate with a 2:1 or above
  • Previous care/ child-related experience is ideal
  • Graduates who wish to pursue a Master’s or Doctorate in Educational/ Child Psychology
  • Aspiring SEN Teachers, Counsellors, Child Wellbeing Practitioners, Speech & Language Therapists
  • You must be confident in your behaviour management techniques

The Headteacher of an inclusive mainstream Primary School in Kensington & Chelsea is searching for a hardworking and committed 1-to-1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a lovely girl in Reception this September with a diagnosis of Autism & Global Developmental Delay which has caused her Speech & Language Delay.

 

Role Details:

You will be required to provide tailored 1-to-1 support both in and out of the classroom and work closely alongside the SENCo to formulate an effective timetable which will allow you to monitor and track her academic and social development. You will be trained up on a range of Speech & Language therapies and will deliver interventions to a small group of Reception children on a weekly basis.

 

  • Full time role starting in September
  • Long-term for the full academic year
  • £70-£78 per day
  • Located in the Central London borough of Kensington & Chelsea
