Clarus Education are searching for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to work in a West London primary school with a mix of KS1 & KS2 pupils with a range of Emotional Behavioural Difficulties. You will be supporting the children in the classroom as well as in outdoor provisions, providing them with tailored 1:1 support and guidance.


The Headteacher is looking for someone who can start this September on a full-time basis, for the minimum of the entire academic year. You need to be a graduate or have specific qualifications and experience to be eligible for the role. If you have notable experience working with children who have challenging behaviours, you could be a great candidate for this role!

Behaviour Support Assistant - Job Description

  • Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant
  • Provide support across both KS1 & KS2
  • Full-time & long term (September 2020 – July 2021)
  • £70 - £77 per day
  • Located in the Borough of Ealing, West London


Behaviour Support Assistant - Person Specification

  • Must have a 2:1 degree or above
  • Experience supporting children with behavioural issues is essential
  • Personable, calm, patient, empathetic
  • Ability to commit to the entire academic year (term time only)
  • Experience with ASD, EBD, SEN is advantageous
