Speech & Language Specialist Teaching Assistant – Mainstream Primary School
Clarus Education are actively looking to recruit a graduate with experience supporting children with Speech, Language and Communication needs. A bright, articulate, and caring graduate is required this SEN Teaching Assistant position, starting September 2022.
If successful, you will be tasked with supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis, who have additional needs associated with speech and language difficulties. This is a full-time position, for the entire academic year. You will have the opportunity to further develop your skills and experience within a fantastic primary school, located within Islington – North London.

PERSON:
- PERFECT for an aspiring Speech Therapist
- Articulate & caring Graduate – 1st Class or 2:1 Degree
- Previous experience in a School or Child related role an advantage
- Experience with Speech, Language & Communication ideally!
- Down to earth & patient individual required!
- Strength in Maths & English a MUST
ROLE:
- Full time SEN teaching Assistant
- September 2022 to July 2023
- 1:1 & small group - In class support
- Work closely with the class teacher – develop and deliver separate curriculum
- Focus on Literacy, Numeracy & Speech Development
- Involved in wider school activities – Lunchtime & After School clubs
- Pay: £85 - £100 per day + Healthcare Package
