In the London borough of Barnet, a leading Primary school needs a SEN teaching assistant to aid a boy with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) with his daily learning.

  • Primary Teaching Assistant supporting a child with ASD 1:1
  • Full time role – 5 days a week
  • £75 - £90 per day during term time
  • ASAP start – July 2022
  • Carrying out interventions focusing on Reading, Writing and Maths
  • Monitoring the progress of the child
  • Joining staff meetings with Teachers and TAs
  • Working alongside SENCO, Therapists and Counsellors


  • High achieving Primary School with ‘Good’ grading from Ofsted
  • 2 classes per year group
  • Zones 3 and 4 access
  • Easy links to Northern Line and National Rail
  • Strong community feel and support network
  • Established and committed senior leadership team


  • Graduate with 1st class or 2:1 degree
  • Have a confident and vibrant personality
  • Be able to think on your feet and use initiative
  • Experience with SEN will enhance your application!
