If so, at Clarus Education we have teamed up with an outstanding Primary School who are on the hunt to find academic individuals, who have psychology experience and are interested in supporting children with SEN. The ideal candidate would have experience working with children and some knowledge of Speech, Language issues.
If successful, your role as a Speech & Language Teaching Assistant will include supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis, who have additional needs associated with speech and language difficulties. This is a full-time position, up until July 2022.
The Head Teacher & SENCO of this Primary School are looking to trial and interview ASAP.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Speech & Language Teaching Assistant
- £75-£90 per day + Healthcare package
- January 2022 start – until July 2022
- 1:1 support and small group interventions
- Work closely with the class teacher – developing and delivering separate curriculum
- Focus on Literacy, Numeracy & Speech Development
- Involved in wider school activities – Lunchtime & After School clubs
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Speech & Language Teaching Assistant
- Perfect for an aspiring Speech Therapist
- Articulate & caring Graduate – 2:1 or above.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Support role – ideal
- Experience with Speech, Language & Communication - ideal
- Must have good strengths in Maths & English.
- Ability to commit for the School Year –ASAP to July 2022
