Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant

The Executive Head of the school is looking to appoint a passionate, enthusiastic, and caring individual who is looking to gain first-hand SEN experience working with a range of different needs.
The school’s vision is ideally to appoint a someone either with previous SEN experience or who can highlight an advanced knowledge of special needs.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be tasked with supporting a wide variation of needs including Autism (ASD), PMLD (Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), Speech and Language (SP&L) and more!

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant
- £75-£85 per day + Healthcare
- Supporting KS3-5 pupils with SEN on a day-to-day basis
- Working alongside an experienced HOD & SENCO
- Liaising with Teachers and the SENCO regarding progress of Children.
- Delivering specialist interventions
- Providing a stimulating & enjoyable learning environment for children on a 1-1 basis

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant
- Previous SEN experience or advanced knowledge of SEN
- 2:1 or above
- Childcare related experience, ideally SEN focused – ideal.
- You must be passionate, understanding and caring.
- A hardworking enthusiastic individual, who wants to exceed expectations.
