A welcoming, supportive secondary school in Enfield are looking for additional Learning Support Assistants to join their friendly team of support staff. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working with students of all abilities, including SEN to help them improve and achieve their very best.


We are ideally searching for Graduates that are interested in education, teaching and SEN. The school’s SENCO are keen to find Graduates interested in Secondary teaching in the future, as this is something, they can help you train towards (via their Schools Direct scheme).


Furthermore, graduates with a passion for SEN (i.e a Psychology Graduate) are urged to apply. You will gain a long-term, varied experience which will serve you well ahead of a Masters or PhD to excel your career.


The school can accommodate Learning Support Assistants wishing to start ahead of the summer or for an ASAP start. These are ALL full time, and long-term roles for the minimum of an academic year (ASAP to July 2022)

Please note the job title “Learning Support Assistant” is the same as a ‘Teaching Assistant’ or ‘SEN Teaching Assistant’. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will still be assisting the teaching in class and out of class, as well as working with students with mild to moderate SEN (i.e., Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD).
