As a Pastoral Support Assistant, you will provide emotional, social, and practical support to students who need it most. We are looking for the successful candidate to join our Ofsted 'Outstanding' Secondary School in Southwark London.

 

Location: Southwark

Salary: £90 - £110

Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

Start Date: ASAP

 

The key responsibilities:

The trusted Pastoral Support Assistant will:

  • Provide guidance and interventions
  • Build strong relationships to support student well-being
  • Collaborate with staff and families to address student needs
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement

 

The key requirements:

Please note, the success Pastoral Support Assistant will require have:

  • Previous experience as a Pastoral Support Assistant or similar role
  • The ability to exhibit empathy as well as excellent communication skills
  • A proactive approach to supporting children’s welfare
  • Qualifications in relation to the role, degree or otherwise
