Pastoral Leader – Haringey

Clarus Education are working in partnership with the Head Teacher of an ‘Outstanding’ and highly successful mixed-comprehensive Secondary School in North London. We are searching for an intelligent, proactive & hardworking graduate to fill a full time Pastoral Leader role.

The Secondary School is based at the heart of the community and is a wonderful place to learn, where pupils develop their academic scholarship and character. The school believes that if pupils endeavour to work hard, they will enjoy the process of gaining knowledge, and in turn they will excel as citizens.

As a Pastoral Leader you will be working with Secondary School students, supporting a range of children across different year groups. You will be assisting students’ academic and holistic development, ensuring that students are safe, secure and successful.

Pastoral Leader:

  • Pastoral Leader
  • Working across KS3, KS4 & KS5 
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups across different year groups
  • Supporting pupils with their wellbeing & mental health
  • To act as a role model by demonstrating high quality pastoral care and academic monitoring of students
  • Must be able to inspire and motivate pupils
  • Working in collaboration with Year Coordinators
  • Strong academics at degree, A-Level & GCSE
  • Experience in a previous role would be ideal but not essential
  • Full time and long-term role – until at least July 2025
  • £125 per day
