SEMH Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Ealing

 

A fantastic community Primary School in the Borough of Ealing are looking to recruit a SEMH Teaching Assistant.

 

As a SEMH Teaching Assistant you will be working on a 1:1 basis with a child. The child needs support with their emotional needs, and you will provide both pastoral and academic support in your role as a SEMH Teaching Assistant.

SEMH Teaching Assistant

  • SEMH Teaching Assistant
  • Working with a child with emotional needs on a 1:1 basis
  • Supporting the child in and out of the classroom
  • Providing pastoral and academic support
  • Long Term & Full Time – until at least July 2025
  • £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
  • Must have a degree from a reputable University
  • Good understanding of SEMH is required
  • Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEMH would be ideal
  • Passionate about supporting children with SEMH
  • Calm and compassionate nature
  • Ability to demonstrate patience and sensitivity
  • Holds a registered DBS or be willing to apply for one ASAP
