About the Role – Specialist SEND Teaching Assistant:
As a Specialist SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to students with diverse SEND requirements, enhancing their learning and emotional well-being. Your role includes collaborating closely with the school SENCO, educational psychologists, and other professionals, assisting in the development and review of individual support plans, and working in a nurturing school environment.
Requirements - Specialist SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working in schools with children with complex needs
- Strong academic background and a commitment to supporting students with SEND is essential
- Previous experience working with children or in a SEND-focused role is advantageous
- Passionate about making a positive impact on students’ lives
- Eager to pursue a career dedicated to student development and well-being
- Holds a registered DBS or is willing to apply for one ASAP
