Graduate Teaching Assistant – The requirements:

  • A genuine desire to work with children with special education needs
  • A caring, compassionate and resilient nature
  • A 'can-do' attitude but also being pro-active rather than always waiting for direction
  • You will require a DBS check (which we can support you with)

 

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be working with children, some of whom will have Education Health Care Plans (EHCP's) who will usually require additional support with certain tasks, or when breaking problems down.

We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
