Job title: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Salary: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full time and long term – until at least July 2025
Location: Brent, North West London – Zone 2
We are a welcoming & supportive 3-form entry Primary school located in Kensal Green. Our Head Teacher is actively seeking to appoint several Graduate Teaching Assistants to join our team.
We are a highly successful teacher training school and many of our current Class Teachers joined us as Graduate Teaching Assistants. We are keen to continue this cycle and encourage applications from bright Graduates who are considering becoming Primary Teachers in the near future.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A 2:1 or above at degree level
- Strong GCSE & A Level grades
- A passion for working with children and forging a successful career in teaching
- Sound SEN knowledge
- The willingness to be adaptable and flexible to the needs of the school
- Previous child-related experience – voluntary or paid
- Classroom presence & an engaging personality
- The motivation to get the best out of every child, regardless of their ability
