Teacher of Science – London Secondary School – January or April 2025 start

One of our flagship, partnership schools - a tremendous Sutton Secondary School - requires a well-qualified, full time, permanent Science Teacher from January 2025. You will be working in a forward looking and supportive School with successful and committed staff.

 

Role: Science Teacher

Pay Scale: Outer London MPS-UPS (TLR negotiable)

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Location: Sutton

Start date: January or April 2025

Our school itself is a large, oversubscribed and successful 11-18 entry mixed comprehensive academy, housed in modern buildings on an attractive site.

Science Teacher – Criteria:

  • A fully qualified teacher with evidence of QTS for secondary teaching
  • Qualified to at least degree level in subject area and/or good A Levels or equivalent
  • Qualified to teach and work in the UK

 

Science Teacher – Requirements:

  • A proven track record or the potential to secure excellent pupil outcomes in GCSE examinations
  • Talented, dynamic and an ambitious teacher, who can build on the success of the school and ensure good progress for all pupils
  • Has a good knowledge of the curriculum and comfortable teaching science in KS3 and KS4
  • Has experience of effective teaching and supporting pupils with a range of SEN and Academic needs
  • A science specialism and ability to teach to KS5 would be highly desirable
