Graduate Teaching Assistant Opportunity!

Our Secondary school, located in the borough of Westminster is seeking enthusiastic graduates eager to start their careers as Teaching Assistants. This position begins ASAP, with a strong possibility of extension or potential teacher training opportunities.

This distinguished school in Westminster is looking for Teaching Assistants to support both teachers and students within the classroom environment. The ideal candidate should be a recent graduate with excellent communication skills, dedication, strong role-modelling abilities, and a passion for fostering positive relationships with students.

Responsibilities and Job Details of the Graduate Teaching Assistant Role:

  • Assist the class teacher and students during lessons, one-on-one sessions, and intervention groups
  • Collaborate with various departments to support student learning
  • Engage with lessons for all year groups, including Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Monday - Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm
  • £90 - £100 per day – paid weekly
  • Long term and full time – until at least July 2025
  • ASAP start

 

Qualifications Required for the Graduate Teaching Assistant Role:

  • A degree qualification
  • Good A level & GCSE grades
  • Availability to work from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday
  • A registered DBS, or be willing to apply for one ASAP
