POSITION: Early Years Classroom Assistant
SCHOOL: GOOD Primary School
LOCATION: Islington
TRANSPORT: Access to National rail services and the London Underground via the Northern, Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith and City, Central and Elizabeth lines
CANDIDATE: Calm, confident and compassionate with experience working with young people with SEN
QUALIFICATIONS: Strong academic background – educated to a degree level

PAY: £85 - £100 per day
A fantastic school in the London borough of Islington are looking for an exceptional Early Years Classroom Assistant to join their team to support students in their Reception Class.
This centrally located, multicultural and diverse primary school pride themselves on striving to provide the highest quality of a broad and balanced education, but place equal importance on their children becoming happy, confident, fulfilled individuals.
The successful candidate will provide support for all areas of learning to pupils with severe and complex, profound and multiple learning difficulties, including autism and learning difficulties. You will take part in all aspects of teaching and learning.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Early Years Classroom Assistant
Your role as an Early Years Classroom Assistant will include but not be limited to:
- Early Years Classroom Assistant
- Combination of 1:1, small group and general classroom support
- Collaborating with Teachers, SENCO and therapists
- Full-time, Monday –Friday
- 08:30– 16:30
- Long term position
- £85 - £100 per day
- Supporting in and out of the classroom providing extra support
- Located in the London borough of Islington
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Early Years Classroom Assistant
The ideal candidate for this Early Years Classroom Assistant will have the following:
- Strong academic background
- Experience is ESSENTIAL!
- Team Teach qualification is advantageous but not a necessity
- Personable, calm, and patient
- Ability to commit to the entire academic year, term time only.
- Experience with ASD, SEN, SEMH and complex trauma all beneficial
