We wish to appoint a talented and ambitious Teacher of Maths who is looking to take on additional responsibility within a successful department as a Maths 2ic (Second in Charge), to start in January 2025. 

This GOOD North London Secondary School are seeking somebody who can motivate and challenge pupils to unlock their potential and develop the tools they need to explore beyond what they consider to be possible.  

Please note that as a school, we are unable to offer sponsorship at this time. All applicants must have a Qualified Teacher Status awarded by the British Department of Education and a Secondary subject.    

Salary: M3 to U3 Outer London (£40,322 - £53,994) + TLR 

The successful candidate will: 

• Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree 

• Have a minimum of one year's teaching experience 

• Have proven success in raising achievement 

• Have recent experience of involvement in innovative curriculum development 

• Show good understanding of creative whole school strategies for improving numeracy and the importance of this in raising achievement 

• Be willing to use coaching as a model for ensuring on-going professional development 

• Have a proven ability to identify and implement strategies to raise standards of Teaching and Learning
