Mental Health Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Islington Primary School – ASAP start!
Clarus Education is working with a fantastic Primary School in the North London borough of Islington to recruit a Mental Health Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work alongside the class teachers in classrooms with students with a range of social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. This role is a full-time, long-term role with an ASAP start, following a successful trial day.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Mental Health Learning Support Assistant
- Focus on supporting pupils with SEMH, mainly on a 1:1 basis
- Plan & deliver booster sessions
- Run social & emotional interventions
- Full time (Monday-Friday, 8:30-4:00)
- £85-£100 per day – ASAP 2024
- Long-term, full-time contract
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- 1st Class/ 2:1-degree Graduates ideal
- Previous SEMH experience is desirable, but not essential
- Strong passion for SEMH/SEN is required.
- Must be highly dependable, empathetic and with a professional outlook
