Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our clients educational team as an SEN Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for educating students across various subjects. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to engage with children of different ages, and a desire to support their academic and personal growth. Experience in childcare, special education, or tutoring is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Educate students in core subjects including Maths and language arts, ensuring comprehension and retention of material.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues to foster a collaborative educational environment.
• Provide support for students with special educational needs, including those requiring speech therapy or additional mentoring.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
• Proofread educational materials and student assignments to ensure clarity and accuracy.

Qualifications

• A recognised teaching qualification or degree in education is essential.
• Experience in childcare or working with toddlers is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of special education principles and practices is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children and adults alike.
• Proven experience in tutoring or mentoring students in various subjects.
• Ability to create an engaging curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
• A patient, compassionate approach towards teaching and supporting students' individual needs.
