KS2 Teacher – SW London - January 2025

A successful Primary School with an OFSTED “Good” is looking to appoint an experienced KS2 Teacher to join their team from January 2025. The role requires the teacher to build from the existing curriculum and use their experience to create exciting and challenging frameworks. This role is not suitable for ECT’s.

The school is looking to progress into “Outstanding” and the successful candidate will have that ambition for the school. Excellent subject knowledge and differentiated practices along with formative and summative assessment are key. Previous experience working to boost oracy skills would also be encouraged. The role can be flexible across either Yr5 or Yr6 depending on the right candidate and experience.

• Teaching either Yr5 or Yr6
• Working alongside the curriculum team to shape the teaching frameworks
• Full time and permanent position – employed by the school
• Assessment strategies are implemented and reported
• Accountability for student progress
• Outer London pay scale – MPS / UPS
• Located in London Borough of Lambeth

Person Specification – KS2 Teacher

• Must hold UK QTS
• Not suitable for ECT’s
• Strong academic background including degree, A levels & GCSEs
• Applying excellent subject knowledge to teach an engaging curriculum
• Graded ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ in recent lesson observations
