A fantastic Secondary School in the Southwest is looking to appoint a Maths Teacher. The Head Teacher is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Maths Teacher, who will have the aim of raising attainment.

In your role as a Maths Teacher, you will stretch students to take risks, take on new learning challenges and develop creativity. You will have high aspirations delivered through high standards of teaching and learning.

Secondary Maths Teacher

• Full time and fixed term / long-term contract – January 2025 until July 2025

• Outer London pay scale MPS1 £36,413 – UPS3 £53,994

• Must hold UK QTS
• Graded ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ in recent lesson observations

• Have the ability to inspire, challenge and support students to ensure they perform at the highest levels

• An enthusiastic and effective teacher who constantly challenges yourself to become a better teacher
• School graded ‘Good’ in most recent Ofsted

• High expectations and aspirations for excellence
• Strong pastoral support system – caring and supportive environment for students
• Culture of lifelong learning
• Excellent relationships between staff and students
• Regular opportunities for professional development to support career progression
• Extensive & diverse extra-curricular programme
